Speech Therapy

Myofunctional Therapy
Myofunctional therapy (OMT) focuses on retraining the muscles of the face and mouth to correct improper oral habits, such as tongue thrust and mouth breathing. By addressing these issues, it helps improve speech clarity, swallowing function, and overall oral health. We are certified in the following Simon Says' OMT Programs: Tongue Tips (ages 8+), Tiny Tongue Tips (e.g., an early intervention play-based OMT program), & Thumbs Up (e.g., pacifier elimination).

Keila is an international speaker on this topic, and trains speech-pathologists on how to implement therapy practices that are provided daily at Desert Lily. Keila provides services in English and Spanish.
